Demand Spring Named a Finalist in the Prestigious 2021 Content Marketing Awards

The Content Marketing Institute recently announced the winners and finalists for their 2021 Content Marketing Awards. We were so pleased to hear that Demand Spring was named a finalist in the category of ‘Best Use of Multichannel Social Media in Content Marketing’, for our campaign Advice To My Younger Self

The Content Marketing Awards is the largest and longest-running international content marketing awards program in the world for content creation, distribution, and innovation. These awards recognize and award the best content marketing projects, agencies, and marketers in the industry each year. This year’s panel of judges reviewed nearly 1000 entries to determine the best of the best in content marketing excellence – so we are so excited to have been named a finalist in our category out of so many outstanding entries that were submitted!

And we are incredibly proud that this campaign was recognized because of the collaboration and involvement of all of our team members. Earlier this year, in celebration and recognition of International Women’s Day, we wanted to showcase the strong team of women working within Demand Spring. Our aim was to design a campaign that would support other women as they progress in their careers, while acknowledging that we can all learn something from ourselves. 

We asked the women at Demand Spring to share a valuable piece of advice that they would give to their younger selves. These quotes were then paired with photos of each of the women from their childhood, and transformed into a multi-platform social media campaign that was shared throughout the month of March 2021 primarily on LinkedIn and Twitter, with support on Facebook and Instagram.  

The campaign was a huge boost for the team, who had a great time imagining what they would say to their younger selves, and who loved sharing photos from their childhoods. And while the campaign was a great success publicly, it also helped to bring the team, who work all across North America, closer together.
