During this past month we have been blogging and posting about the gap we see in organizations deploying Marketo (and all Marketing Automation platforms). As we have written, it’s a wonderful technology. It slices, it dices, it makes warm bread in 20 minutes. What it doesn’t do is run by itself. Like all technology, you have to feed it. It’s this need to feed that has lead us to launch a new offering today, Marketo as a Service (MaaS).
Marketo as a Service is designed to help organizations get the most out of the platform. Every. Single. Day. Demand Spring’s Marketo specialists will apply best practices in running your day-to-day email, event, engagement, and default programs. We will conduct continuous A/B testing to enable you to optimize your engagement marketing efforts. Monthly analytics reviews give you insight into program performance.
This core campaign execution component is designed to augment or fully outsource the running of the platform — at a fraction of the price of in-house resources. We have priced MaaS at roughly 75% of the cost of fully loaded internal resources. So, you get everyday best practices and you can redeploy marketing dollars into the content and outreach that drives engagement and pipeline.

Why have we launched this service? Quite simply the demand is there. We have been doing Marketo implementations, migrations from other platforms, and optimizations for more than five years. In the past year, many of our clients have asked us for help in running it post-deployment.
A lack of supply of skilled Marketo resources is part of the challenge. Great Marketo resources are hard to find, expensive, and hard to keep. More organizations have decided to choose an always-on resource that they can rely on.
