Wisdom Wednesday Episode 90: A CMO’s Approach to Russia

On this week’s Wisdom Wednesday, I share my insights on what CMOs should be doing to address the situation in Russia.

CMOs are tasked with making difficult and timely choices that impact their brand. The current events in Russia and Ukraine have been volatile, unpredictable, and difficult to traverse for many CMOs. The extremely challenging situation has seen global brands like Coca-Cola, Starbucks, H&M, and most recently McDonald’s take a step back from the Russian market.

In difficult and delicate times like these, a company’s core leadership and their ability to work hand in hand with one another is certainly tested. Having a strong and well aligned approach can be the difference needed to get out in front and lead.

Happy Wednesday, and see you next time for episode 91.
