Wisdom Wednesday, Episode 74 | 3 Keys to Corporate Social Advocacy

For this week’s Wisdom Wednesday, I draw on inspiration from an article on Corporate Social Advocacy written by Leap advisor, Michele Grieshaber, in our new eBook, The 10 Biggest CMO Challenges of 2022. As a business in today’s climate, it is simply not an option to stay silent when it comes to social issues. In this video, I offer the following 3 keys to an effective Corporate Social Advocacy program:

  1. Align the causes you support with your company’s mission and values;
  2. Walk the walk by acting in a way that reflects the values your company advocates for and;
  3. Treat your advocacy as a well-planned, ongoing marketing campaign

I hope these tips offer you some guidance in furthering your company’s Corporate Social Advocacy position. Check back next week for episode 75 of Wisdom Wednesday.
