Semi-Annual Business Review Focuses on Client Success
It’s December, and that can only mean one thing. It’s time for Demand Spring’s Semi-Annual Business Review (SABR)! With unseasonably warm weather that saw temperatures rise to 11 Celsius, (which is about 52 Fahrenheit, or 284 Kelvin for all you astronomers out there), we resisted our collective urge forgo our meetings and hit the local beaches. After all, we had a full agenda to cover at our chosen off-site venue, a stately meeting room at the Lord Elgin Hotel. Our December SABR is an important milestone as it allows our entire team to come together, mingle and share a few laughs. Most importantly, the collective buzz our group creates provides valuable insights into our business. As always, the team spent a significant amount of time discussing what matters the most at Demand Spring: client success.
We focused our attention on identifying gaps and opportunities associated with our service lines and internal processes, how they can be better positioned, improved and streamlined to serve you in more meaningful ways to generate better outcomes for clients. A commitment to work-life balance is core to our ethos at Demand Spring. We always make sure we make time to enjoy ourselves. This time was no different. During the evening between our two days of meetings, we ventured over to Jigsaw Escape Room in Ottawa’s Byward Market for some team-building exercises.
We divided our group into two teams and quickly put our wits to the test in an attempt to escape the imaginative scenarios dreamt up by Jigsaw. Unable to escape, both teams and had to be rescued. United in failure, our spirits were boosted knowing it was time for our team dinner. Held at The Black Tomato, this year’s Christmas party brought together the core Demand Spring team and our extended family of collaborators. Easily the most boisterous group in the restaurant, we ate, drank and conversed the night away.
As you can tell, it’s an exciting time at Demand Spring. As a direct result of the discussion in the SABR, we’re gearing up to ring in the new year with exciting new additions to our core Content, Technology and Strategy service lines, and we’ll continue to enhance our offerings to provide more value to our customers. We also have new tools in the pipeline to augment our internal processes, along with the development of innovative approaches to help us better connect with our customers and prospects. Of course, none of this would be possible without the fantastic relationships we have built over the years with our clients and partners across our network.
